The testimonial flywheel
Every good visit becomes a testimonial on Google. Every testimonial helps a new patient find and trust Dr Afshan. Every new patient is another chance for a good visit. Each turn makes the next one easier. This page has everything the team needs to keep it spinning, in the clinic and online.
Running alongside: the private feedback page catches problems early, so they're fixed before they turn into one-star ratings.
In the clinic
Three printables, all with the same QR code to the clinic's Google page for testimonials. Print them, put them where patients wait and pay, and hand them out.
Reception desk card
In an acrylic stand at the front desk, where patients pay. This is where most testimonials happen.
Waiting-room poster
On the waiting-room wall or the back of the treatment-room door, where patients sit with their phones.
Thank-you cards
Handed over with the bill or prescription. The WhatsApp number for aftercare questions makes them worth keeping.
Printing tip: in the print window, set margins to "None" and turn on "Background graphics". Use thick card (250–300 gsm) for the desk card and thank-you cards.
What to say
Asking in person works far better than a sign alone. Keep it short and warm, and ask every patient.
At the desk, after treatment
"Dr Afshan really values feedback. If you were happy today, would you share a quick testimonial on Google? Just scan this. It takes a minute."
"अगर आज का अनुभव अच्छा रहा, तो क्या आप Google पर अपना अनुभव लिख सकते हैं? बस यह कोड स्कैन करें, एक मिनट लगेगा।"
When a patient says thank you
"That's so kind, thank you! Would you be willing to say that on Google? It really helps nervous patients find us."
"बहुत धन्यवाद! क्या आप यही बात Google पर लिख देंगे? इससे घबराए हुए मरीज़ों को भरोसा मिलता है।"
Handing over the thank-you card
"Here's your card. Our WhatsApp number is on it for any questions, and the code is for a testimonial on Google if you have a minute."
"यह आपका कार्ड है। कोई भी सवाल हो तो इस पर WhatsApp नंबर है, और यह कोड Google पर अनुभव लिखने के लिए है।"
Helping older patients: it's fine to open the link on their phone for them, but let them choose the stars and type the testimonial themselves, from their own phone and their own Google account.
WhatsApp follow-ups
A simple sequence after each visit. Fill in the patient's details once, and every message below updates. Edit any message before sending.
Reply to every testimonial
Replies show future patients that a real doctor reads every testimonial, and Google ranks profiles that reply higher. Reply within 48 hours, and vary the wording so replies don't look copy-pasted.
Privacy: never mention a patient's treatment, condition or visit details in a public reply, even if they did. Thank them publicly; discuss specifics privately.
The routine
A flywheel only spins if someone keeps pushing. Ticks are saved on this device only. Use them as a personal checklist.

The rules
Google removes testimonials, and can suspend a profile, when these are broken. Getting caught costs far more than the testimonials were worth.
Do
- Ask every patient, whatever you think they'll say
- Make it easy: the QR code, the direct link, a reminder
- Reply to every testimonial, good and bad, politely
- Take complaints offline and fix them
- Ask permission before featuring a testimonial on the website
Don't
- Offer discounts, gifts or free check-ups in exchange for testimonials
- Ask only happy patients, or send unhappy ones somewhere else instead
- Write testimonials for patients, or post from the clinic's phone or tablet
- Ask staff, family or friends to post testimonials
- Buy testimonials or use paid "rating boost" services
- Argue with a patient or reveal medical details in a reply
Setup checklist
Everything is read from assets/config.js. Fix these once and every page, QR code and message updates.
